....not even my statements into Quicken???

The only change to my system was to remove OneCare...it was getting to
be a pin-in-the-b___. Now any download screen just 'sits' there doing
nothing at all!?!

Anybody have a clue?

Must be another of MickeyMouse's great innovations. It seems to be a given
these days. Touch anything from MickeyMouse and your computer ends up
broken. If not today, sooner than later.

Although the name they chose - OneCare - would suggest they care for their
customers, the reality is that they care for money and making lots of it.
Why they continue to unleash this crap on the computer users of the world
who don't have a clue that better alternatives exist is beyond me? It
certainly isn't the way to keep those users forever and many of us have
long since moved on to the newer and better operating systems out there.

I know this message will be immediately attacked by the MickeyMouse fanboys
around here. But remember, THEY have a stake in this unstable crappy
operating system. Most of them make a living trying to be Windoze
troubleshooters. Keep that in mind, when they start raging against "trolls"
that shouldn't be letting other computer users know there are far better
alternatives to Windoze now available out there.

Scan your system with latest versions of Spybot,Search and
Destroy,CWShredder as well as Adaware.Run all of them in Safe mode.

Also look at the Event Viewer to get the clue.
