Suddenly cannot send pictures in email or forward pictures

Suddenly my gmail, hotmail and picasa will not send out pictures, either new
or forwarded. I don't know what happened. I have had no problems before and
made no changes myself. Am wondering if automatic updates changed something
and what do I do to correct it. Can anyone help me?

There is definitely a problem with Gmail and images today. I think it
must be server-side, as I can still get old images from my account, but
nothing sent this afternoon is working. Problem evident in both Firefox
and IE.

The image upload to Google's Blogger is also failing.
