Subtracting a percentage from a total.

I am just learning ACCESS and need a little help. I am trying to subtract
15% from the total rent amount. Is there a way to do this instead of having
to enter the amount one at a time?

Umm try in an *ACCESS* group - this is *OUTLOOK* as in the title of the
group!
 
Hey Tony.

I can help you. To create this calculated field in a form, simply add a
"text box" from the "toolbox". Assuming that the rent field is named, rent,
insert the following expression into the "control field" in the properties of
your "text box" --

=[rent]-0.15*[rent]
