Subjective CPU speed difference

Subjectively, what difference will I see between a Pentium D processor
running at 2.66GHz vs a 3.0GHz unit. The motherboard will have a
800MHz FSB. I expect to be doing photo editing using PS Elements and
video editing using Pinnacle Studio. NO games. The price difference
is about $125.00.

IMO, not $125 worth.

You'd be better off spending the $125 on RAM.

With the video editing in Pinnale Studio, are you capturing analog tape to
the HD ?
