Is there a way of transferring a complicated Subject from an email in Inbox
to a New Post in OE6SP1 instead of laboriously writing it in?

My OS in Windows XP Pro.

Yes I did try it and it worked fine. Not everything was perfectly lined up,
but it did work.

It obviously works for you, but it does not work for me.
This is what I tried many times, before posting my query:

I create a new post, I then click on the email heading in the Inbox. The
heading changes colour to blue, but when I try a right click on it to get a
menu for Copy, I do not get any response.

How do you do it?

Regards,

Highlight the subject line before right-clicking.

Even if annon had right-clicked before highlighting the text, he would've
noticed the Select All item in the context menu which would've done the
highlighting for him. Annon isn't telling us everything, either. I suspect
"I then click on the email heading in the Inbox" really means he is
highlighting the item in the message list pane rather than highlighting the
Subject field in the Preview pane of the message or double-clicking the
message to open in a separate window (if the Preview pane is disabled) and
highlighting the Subject field there. The items in the list pane are
*pointers* to the message. They are NOT the message itself. Either
highlight and copy the Subject field shown in the Preview or view of the
message, or take the longer router of right-clicking on the item in the list
pane, select Properties, select Details, and highlight the Subject string in
the headers shown.
