I love using Movie Maker to edit my videos. The only
problem I have with it is that it only saves as a WMV
file and I want to be able to convert to MPEG files in
order to make VCDs of my home movies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

forgot to specify that - when choosing the source video - WMV files don't show up in
the list. But you can choose to see "Files of type: All FIles (*.*)", and then open
WMV's without any problem.

Have you actually TRIED that? AFAIK, TMPGEnc cannot read WMV. What the OP
should do is save their movie in DV-AVI format from MM2 and THEN load it
into TMPGEnc for conversion...

Have YOU tried it? TMPGenc will open wmv files just as the poster
stated. Alternatively, you could rename the wmv file with the asf
extension.
