Subform not appearing as designed

Hi,

I designed a form and subform seperately. When the form comes up, the
subform has a standard layout, with fields appearing side by side. There are
a bunch of comment like fields with 255 characters each so the design I put
together gives each one lots of vertical & horizontal space.

I created these forms with the wizard, using fields from a parent and a
child table. Its the child form that's misbehaving. :)

Any ideas about how to fix this?

Thanks,

Hi jb,
Open the form in design view
Make sure the form's properties sheet is showing
Click once on the subform control so the black handles around it can be seen
Then click on the form inside the subform control
On the format tab of the form's properties sheet, look at the list of
properties down the left side
The second on the list is Default View
On the right side opposite Default View, click in the text box, on the drop
down arrow that appears, choose Single form.
Click the save icon on the menu bar at the top of the window
Close your form and open again but this time in form view
You should be able to see the subform the way you put the textboxes on it
