Style sheet issues

Jeff Z.

I have attached a style sheet to all pages of a site and
fpage is reducing my specified 11 px. link font down to 9
px. I changed it once, but it no longer seems to keep. I
altered the 11 px to 10 px, since 11 wasn't in my font
size list, but it only made my font that much smaller.

The text on my page is 10, so having my links now show up
at 9 has me baffled and frustrated.

Any idea what's going on here? When I try to alter the
font props from within fpage's font format, it just goes
back to the style sheet, which would be fine, if it only
adhered to the sheet settings?

I'm running win2000. THanks for nay help.

Jeff

When you say you're specifying 11px and getting 9, how are
you measuring the 9?

If you're displaying a string like XqypjgX and measuring
the vertical dimension, a result of 9 or 10 is about
right. That's because the measurement of 11px includes a
vertical margin (white space).

If you want the distance from the highest cap to the
lowest descender to be 11 pixels, you probably need to
specify a font size of 11px or 12px.
