i have a e-mail address at comcast Candelyn M.
(e-mail address removed) why can't i recieved e-mail
there now how long will someone make me wait before
answering me?

Perhaps you should contact COMCAST?

You didn't describe your problem very well.. WHY can't you receive email at
COMCAST? Who knows.. Turn on the PC.. Choose an EMAIL client, set it up as
COMCAST recommends, send and receive email.

If you have done this, then your trouble is likely on COMCAST, not Outlook
Express.

Your first step should be to contact Comcast. If they are unable to resolve the problem, you need to provide more information about what email program you are using, and what setting you have created. Your email address definitely is not what you state in your post, since spaces are not permitted.

I have no idea. How do you expect anyone to know, considering the
paucity of information you've provided?

Do you think anyone here *owes* you an answer? This is a peer
support newsgroup. Nobody here gets paid for answering you. We're
all just users here, helping each other when we can. When you're
*asking* volunteers to help you, a little politeness instead of
arrogance would go a long way.

Candelyn,
Try this, step by step. Open OE, go to Tools, Accounts,
under the Mail Tab open properties. Under the General Tab
in the first white area should be "mail.comcast.net"
(don't use the quotaion marks), Name area should have you
name, email address area should have your e-mail address.
Make sure the little box on the lower left is also
checked. Now go under the Servers tab. My Incoming box
should be: POP3, Incoming POP3 box should be:
mail.comcast.net, Outgoing should be: smtp.comcast.net,
the account name should be your e-mail address, enter your
password in the password area, check the little box to
remember your password. Now click apply & OK. That should
be it. You should now exit OE and reboot. You can then
try sending yourself an e-mail to see if it gets through
OK.
Good Luck !

Who cares? But it will be ****ing real funny seeing your addy get hit
with the tons of SPAM, because you're too gormless to have any
discretion about exposing your addy in a public newsgroup!

Here's my answer, "**** off"! (you needed an answer, right?)

You stupid tit! Sit there, and when you get an answer, you then (maybe
if your brain has that ability) can look at the time stamps, and see how
long it will take between your pillocking demand, and the replies.
