studdering then stopping

during capture,after less then a minute of capturing my movie starts to studder then stops, sound keeps going but my movie is stopped
Any suggestions?

Hi Janice,

Is it a firewire connection or USB.... Camcorder brand and model? If USB,
what capture device are you using?
