Hi, Im stuck in 4 bit mode when my windows xp starts up. I
tried going into Safe mode then restarting I also tried
entering windows normally but it still seems to restart in
4 bit mode with this error. Error reading nvcpl.dll
dynamic library.
How do I solve this and get my true colour back for
windows xp :(. I Tried downloading this .dll and replacing
it in the System 32 but it didint work. same error.

My guess is that you're asking about color depth for your video yet you
never mention what hardware you actually have (e.g., video and
motherboard). nvcpl.dll might be an nVidia file, probably their Control
Panel applet (but it might be for nForce audio instead of video). Have
you tried downloading the latest version of the video driver (or
platform driver package if you're using their chipset) and installing
it?

I have try installing the necessary compnents from
Nvidia.com
I still receive the same error. Ti-4200 Nvidia is what the
computer says I use but I think it was nvidia ti48?
Anyways I have a serious problem my programs need it to be
the right one. Is there a way to fix this. All my cd
installations were stolen. ALong with some other cds.
Could it to be with my monitor. Whats really weird is that
I get more colour in Safe mode then I do when I boot up
normaly.

Anyways heres another problem I was gonna post but if you
can answer both at once it would save you guys some time.
My hi jack report.

How was it resolved? Share with us.

He probably won't be back after fixing his problem. Could've been he
decided to use msconfig to figure out what interferred. Could be he
figured to change the video to Std VGA while in safe mode, reboot, and
then install the video drivers. Could be one of those boners where you
slap your forehead and yell "DOH!".
