"Stubborn" Temp Files

I delete Temp Internet Files on a regular basis. Lately, I've noticed...apart
from the cookies that remain...there's a build-up of JPEG files remaining.
There's now literally hundreds of these, and the file name always starts with
WMP, which I presume to be Windows Media Player, which I use a lot with audio
files. I've noticed it is possible to delete these files individually, but
why dont they go with the others when I clean out Temp Files. Just what are
these, and why are they "hangng on"?

Hi

Reboot your system then try to delete those files. If they are not in use
you should be able to delete them.

Thank Will. I tried that, but still they stayed in there. So I right-clicked
and deleted the lot of them individually. WMP still works...the graphics
(album covers) are still showing, my system hasn't blown up...(I shouldn't
have said that!!!!!). I guess I was interested as to what they were and why
they would not "go" in the usual way. Thanks anyway.
