MS, in its never ending quest to control the actions of its paying
customers, has put an end to slipstreaming Service Packs.

Just another "enhancement" brought to you by the MicroBorg!

There is no Microsoft supported method to slipstream SP1
with Vista into a new disc. Please see the following:

MS has NOT "put an end to slipstreaming Service packs"! The new procedure
just is not ready for SP1.

The reason SP1 can't be slipstreamed - it actually can, bit it is
MUCH more complicated - is because the install DVDs are a
completely different format than previously used, and there are
multiple versions of Vista on the DVD (Home, Business, Ultimate,
etc.). By the time SP2 comes along, this will once again be
supported and will be incredibly easy. All that should be required
is to copy SPs and other updates to the Update folder in the root of the DVD
image and you are done. The new Vista installer will
take care of the rest.

Have you heard any estimate on when this happy day will come?

Geez, take the stick out of your ass. MS is a valid target of ridicule
for the sake of a few laughs.

LOL! So again, the earlier you adopt a MS OS, the more you get screwed.

MS has had over a year to develop an easy way to slipstream a service
pack. But wait, til SP2!

Will they finally un-fukk up Explorer by SP2? I have some very valid
doubts about that.

I don't know what's worse, if my joke was a reality, or the reality that
MS is so f*$ked up, that they can't develop a simple slipstreaming method
in over a year.

Where can I buy me Vista Ultimate, so I can drop a wad of my cash & get
all those extras MS is developing instead of finding a way to slipstream
SPs into Vista?

Oh yeah, right. Now that you have been shown to be wrong - it was all
"just a joke"! Not FUD, just a joke!

LOL! What part of the Star Trek borg gag didn't you get?

Although I love how you are using feigned indignation to try to cover up
that MS is really just a bunch a fukk-ups that can't develop a simple
slipstreaming method for Vista in over a year.

Well obviously MS has developed a slipstream cause you can already get
OEM VistaSP1's.
Also SP1 is just now being released so there will be a method in the
near future.
We note with clarity your hated for MS.

Really? They could have just created a new Vista SP1 install package,
instead of slipstreaming the SP1 into the old Vista Pre-SP1 package, so
do you have a link that backs up your assertion, or are you just making
it up, desperately hoping no one calls your bluff?

With SP1 and SP2 of XP, the slipstreaming methods were established when
before they went RTM.

MS is just getting worse at this deploying Service Pack thingy, rather
than better.
We note with clarity your hated for MS. Frank

The day you find clarity, the Universe will collapse upon itself into
nothingness.

As for you notion that I hate you, Ms. Francis, I don't. I pity you.

Oh I wouldn't sh*t you kurt...you're one of my favorite turds...LOL!
Hey dipsh*t the onus is on you to prove me wrong.

So? Who really cares. I've already posted one slipstream method that
also existed before sp1 RTM.

I never said 'you hated me"...I couldn't care less about you or your
feeling towards me...I guess you are too stupid to figure that out.

I pity you.

As if you're a meaningful person...LOL!

I'm the one calling you bluff, and that means you have to show your cards
or fold.

That's not really as slipstream method. When I slipstreamed XP SP2, I
didn't have to do an entire install of my previous version of XP.
I never said 'you hated me"...

"your hated for MS. Frank."

I must say I'm glad you are starting to get in touch with your feminine
side, Ms. Francis.
I couldn't care less about you or your
feeling towards me...I guess you are too stupid to figure that out.

"Methinks the lady doth protest too much."

You cared enough to protest that you don't care, therefore you actually
do care.
I pity you.

I neither want or need your pity, Ms. Francis. But now I pity you even
more, that you cannot even come up with your own line, and so you are
forced to repeat one of mine.
As if you're a meaningful person...LOL! Frank

Meaningful enough in your life, that you keep on coming back to me to
b*tch-slap you.

Same difference.

No. XP slipstreaming took a handful of minutes. Your method, takes at
least an hour.
The end result is the same.

Except the amount of time and aggravation it takes, and who knows if it
really works?

I'm sure you haven't tried it. And not only that, it is a method for
retail copies.

"To slipstream Vista SP1 into Vista RTM retail edition, follow the
instruction of the step-by-step guide below." - from the Frank provided
elsewhere in the thread.

So for the overwhelming majority of users with OEM copies, your link is
worthless.
Hahaha...remember pal?

Yeah, I remember laughter. Did you forget that your inappropriate
laughter only reinforces the majority opinion here that you are a mental
case?
I'm the dude who ALWAYS kicks(ed) your stupid

Your delusions only matter to the voices in your head, Ms. Francis.

Like you are more memorable than the millions of your fellow 'tards on
the internets?

And wouldn't Kurtsy, as a play on the word "curtsy," be a funnier way to
feminize my name, where by implication I'm respectfully bending over for
you?

Naw, that take too much thought, and if you have done anything here,
you've proven that you only have a handful of synapses left, in that
diseased brain of yours, that still have some spark left.

Name, gender, species, or sexual orientation, I'll leave the choice up to
you, as it's always so enjoyable to get a closer look into that fukked up
mind of yours.
