Serge

I appear to be getting a message about a minute into
starting my computer (usually soon after connecting to BT
Broadband and opening explorer - although I am not sure
that is connected to the problem) which says that Windows
will shut down in 1 minute due to a remote procedure call
(or something like that) being termintated. It says this
action is initialed by Windows NT/System . I use XP for
home on my SOny computer ...what could all this be about
please?

Right I have posted all the info on my website, and the link to Symantec. It
seems like a worm is responsible for this RPC vulnerability, and RPC fix,
and removal instructions are on my website.

There you will find the type of RPC error that has been going around very
rapidly at the moment, and the link to Symantec which has fixes.

Hope this helps;
Matt
