Strange Problem

Daisy

Once or twice a day - for no apparent reason - all Fonts
disappear from my Display - eg the text from beneath
Desktop Shortcuts - the writing on all context Menus -
the text within any window which happens to be open - the
writing on the Start Menu - the Time on the System Tray
etc

It can happen while I'm working at the Computer or even
if it has been idle for a time

It is temporarily cured by a Re-start but happens again
before long

It has been happening for longer than I have System
Restore Checkpoints so I cannot use that

I have tried sfc /scannow

Any idea as to the cause and\or solution ?

Sounds viral to me. Have you run a thorough virus scan?
Also check using "Spybot search and destroy" (free) to
look for other possible infections.

Sorry - should have said - yes I have done both of those
things - have no Viruses nor Malware
