Strange problem with outlook 2k and CuteFTP

Hi I've a client who has been using cute FTP for ages. Suddenly when
ever he clicks a link in an e-mail in outlook the install program for
CuteFTP runs and the link does not open.

He has tried cancelling the install as well as letting the install run
but this happens every time he clicks a link! He has to copy and paste
the link in to IE for it to work.

Also he does not want to uninstall cuteFTP due to the number of setting
he has stored in it (i've never used CuteFTP so i don't know of you can
export these settings then import them)

Has anyone in here got a place to start looking? I'm scratching my head
with this one!!

Try this: in IE, click Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings.
If that doesn't work, modify the file associations for HTML documents.
