In order to use my Brother 1030 printer, I must re-
install the driver every time I boot up. If I don't do
this, I receive the following message "There is not
enough space on your hard drive. etc. etc."

There is actually about 95 Gigabytes of free space on my
drive, but the printer doesn't see it and won't work
until I re-install the driver (every time I boot up).

This has been going on since I had a new motherboard
installed 3 months ago. Before that the printer worked
fine with the same driver. Since then I've reinstalled
the printer driver a thousand times and have been
everywhere trying to find a solution. Brother gave up on
it a long time ago and my expert computer serviceman
can't find the answer either. Anyone have any idea at all
what's wrong?

I use XP. I have a Gigabyte board with an AMD 2800
processor. I use the ECP printer port (LPT 1).

Thanks in advance for any help.
