Hello everyone,

I have just formatted my PC and installed WinXP SP 2. But after that I could
not find any icon displaying my LAN card (and VPN as well) in the Network
Connections folder of the Control Panel. However, I still can go online now
and it shown a correct IP address!

Actually, I could see it when I was using SP 2 before I formatted my PC. But
at that time the SP2 was installed from upgrading SP 1.

Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot in advance!

Go to start | run and type 'services.msc', and hit enter.
Scroll down through the list of services,
and look for the 'Network Connections' service.

Is it started?
If not, start it.

Thanks very much, Ron. You've been very helpful.

I did what you've said, it is already started, but there is still nothing
inside "Network Connections".
