Hello all,
I'm having a strange problem with one computer on our network. It is
XP SP2 with the most recent updates installed. This computer can
browse the network, connect up to our Exchange server, and browse the
internet. In spite of this, when I ping this computer from any other
computer on the network, it fails with 100% of the packets lost. I
cannot access its share on the network either. I found this problem
when I tried to connect remotely to the Computer Management console to
view the event log on the remote computer but I couldn't. That struck
me as odd so I started investigating the connectivity problem. I've
tried Googling this, but I can't seem to find a case like this. So
now I appeal to the collective wisdom of the group...Anybody have any
ideas?
