Strange mouse cursor behaviour

This is a never-seen-before symptom here, so I can only assume it's
another consequence of some flaw in my SP2 installation last night. As
I read this or other windows, my mouse cursor keeps changing
erratically to an hour glass. Then arrow, then hour glass, etc. No
apparent pattern, although it possibly happens more frequently when
I'm noving the cursor around. Nothing obvious in the task manager
list.

Anyone with any ideas please?

Not as far as I'm aware. And even when I did have NAV running, it
didn't cause this.

Other problems emerged, plus general instability. I decided to revert
to SP1, which appears to be running OK again.
