Hey, Windows XP has been actin a lil sketchy lately.
When I start up, a DOS looking window opens
called "C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe". It hasn't done
that up until now. Also when I go to shutdown a bunch of
processes will not close, and I have to press the "End
Now" button on the box that pops up to get the computer
to shut down. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank
You =)

Start - run - MSConfig
Look on the Startup page for an entry in the Command column invoking
that cmd.exe (which BTW is the emulated DOS command interpreter,
succeeding command.com). Uncheck it - OK, don't bother to restart, just
exit. Next time you boot there will be a message about Troubleshooting
- check the 'don't show this again' and exit
