strange Floppy drive activity

Hi,

Everytime I click an icon om my desktop my floppy drives starts clicking
like its searching for a disk, it has only started doing this after I used it
for the first time in years.

It doesnt matter what I click, it always starts checking for a disk eveytime
and its starting to annoy me.

Does anyone know how I can stop it??

Remove the reference to the A: drive file in Recent Documents (start button,
properties...)
