Strange behaviour with DVDs

If I put a DVD in my drive, it spins up, and a box appears to give me a
selection of apps to pick from. (at the bottom of the box is a tickbox for
"always do the selected action" just so you know what box I'm talking
about).
The first app in the box is Intervideo WinDVD, the second is Windows Media
player. Whichever I choose, I get Windows Media Player. How do I fix this?
Win DVD works fine if launched directly.

Also, on the same topic, once I have selected 'always choose this' how do I
get back to the selection box again if I change my mind?

TIA

Nope that doesnt it. Right click inside the box on any option does nothing.

Must be something in the registry. I'm going to go and have a look.

Found that, right click on drive, select properties, select autorun, choose
option.

Click Start>My Computer
Right-click the DVD drive and select Properties
Click on the Autoplay tab
Use the drop down box at the top to select DVD movie. Now you can
alter/reset your settings.

Lardy.
