Strange behaviour of ICS

Yesterday I rebuild from scratch my domestic LAN: one desktop and two
laptops.

Desktop is now 192.168.0.1 with ADSL Internet connection shared
Laptop 1 is STATIC 192.168.0.77 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1 1 with DNS
192.168.0.1
Laptop 2 is STATIC 192.168.0.99 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1 1 with DNS
192.168.0.1

Desktop and Laptop 1 are WinXP Home, Laptop 2 is WinXP Pro
All browsers are configured as requested for ICS (both IE and FireFox)

The result is confusing me:

1. I can ping any computer from any computer
2. I can ping any Internet IP address from any computer
3. I can ping any Internate URL from any computer
4. On Laptop 1 I can see the Shared Connection in Network Connections panel

BUT

5. On Laptop 1 I *do not* see the Shared Connection in Network Connections
panel
6. I can browse any URL from desktop
7. I *cannot* browse from any browser to any URL from laptops
8. I *cannot* see NG by OE from laptops
9. I *cannot* use FTP

So, ICS seems to work but NOT for browsers, any browser, from any client. Of
course I can browse from desktop. I also tried to browse by IP address: same
result. It does not work with NG and mail too.

Any suggestion appreciated.

P.S. Is inetinfo.exe involved in some way in ICS?

I had to install again a proxy to fix the problem (AnalogX). It looks like
there is REALLY no way to make ICS work in Windows XP if laptops are
involved. It's more than six months I am trying to make it work. I'm sorry,
but if MS insists to say that this is a trivial job, it's a lie! I scratched
completely my old networ based on 10.0.0.1 to rebuild a 192.168.0.x based
one. No way. When laptop are involved, which of course change configs
depending on which networks they are connected, ICS *does not work*.
