Hi all,

I am using MS Outlook 2002, would someone tell me how to stores all my
emails including the ones inside "Inbox" and all the folder files under
"Personal" into a CD ROM disk for back up purpose. Thanks in advance.

The entire mailbox can be exported to a .pst file. Click on File>Import and
Export>Export to a file>Personal Folder File (.pst). Click on your MAILBOX
(not Inbox) and check in the box to Include all subfolders. Then choose a
location to save the .pst file to. It's easiest to save it right to a
c:\Backup folder (but you need to create that folder). Choose your options
for duplication. Name the file, then choose any encryption if you want it.

Ignore anyone who tells you to export. The process is simple: with Outlook
closed, copy the your PST to the CD. If you need to reference it again,
copy it back to HD, remove the read-only access, and open it in Outlook with
FIle>Open>Outlook Data File.
