Stopping XP set up in BOIS??+ XP set up prob

is it possible to stop XP set up from bios?? and where can you find it?
I have an AMD athlon XP 2600+ processor
I have pressed F8 but there is only "advanced bios" and the rest is all CMOS
I have been installing XP on my comp for the past 3 days and all it does is gets to "installing devices" then stops. at the moment all it does is restart itself over and over, gets to "re-starting setup" then boots itself again
I just want to cancel the installation and then hopefully I can do a system restore to get my comp back working.
 
Bios has nothing to do with XP. Pull all cards and USB and keep video, then
reinstall. What originally happened to make you reinstall.
