Stopping Multiple Instances

My 50 or so access users feel it necessary to have the same database open several times on their PC. I feel this is causing instability to this database, please correct me if I'm wrong. Is there a way I can prevent that linked database to be open more than once at the same time?

I do assume that you have a copy of the front end on each pc..right?

You REALLY need to have a split system..where you place the program part on
each pc.

Generally, then you *can* allow multiple copies..and stability as a rule
will NOT change.

Possible but unlikely that opening the MDB several times on thief PC
is causing instability.

What do you mean by instability? What error messages are you getting?
