How can I stop the INCREDIBLY ANNOYING automatic resizing of existing objects on a slide when I paste in another object (such as an image from a picture editing programme).
Only way I found is to use a totally blank slide... but if you use any of the Test based layouts (even with ONLY the title box) you get this dreadful auto resize which muck's up your layou

version. PP 200

See if this helps:

1. Go to Tools | Options | Edit.
2. Deselect the smart cut and paste option.
