I am not going to read your ALL-CAPS posting; I got a headache after the
first sentence. Post in a normal manner like everybody else, and you
will get helped. Or did you just come to shout? If so you should know
that Microsoft is not reading your post.

Office 2000 is so old that Microsoft doesn't support it anymore. Hence,
you won't get fixes from MS. Spend some money and upgrade.
Generally the issue with Outlook not closing fully has to do with
add-ins not being closed correctly. Disable all your add-ins and see if
you still have the problem. It also could be sync software from a
handheld that keeps Outlook open. If you have a handheld, switch it
off/disconnect it if you want Outlook to close.

I did read your whole message and found it surprising that you'd be complaining about respect, given the tone of your message. But maybe you didn't realize that the people you were yelling at are, the ones answering questions here on their own time, are Outlook users just like you. Microsoft does not actively monitor these peer-to-peer forums.

Also, a word to the wise. Never post your email address in a public forum like this. It is an invitation for spammers to use it to send you even more junk mail than you are already receiving.
