Stop Outlook from breaking down email Attachments

when I send beefy attachments, xl spreadsheeets, adobe documents, Outlook is
breaking them down into 13-34 separate emails, each with garbledegook text
and a useless attachment. Doesn't happen with light attachments

I believe the only version of Outlook that did that was Outlook 2000
Internet Mail Only. There should be an option on Tools>Options to enable or
disable that function.
