I have an existing case open... the number is
SRX040329604774 ... Which is not been resolved.
I keep getting BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)
(Stop errors messages).
such as :
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
and it each error show up as shows up in the event viewer
as The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.
Followed by the stop error. A dump was saved in:
C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP.
Every driver that I have has been certified.
Each message points towards memory..
But I have had the memory REPLACED 3 TIMES since March
2004.
I have has every component replaced..
2 cases
2 Video Cards
3 Hard Drives
2 Sound Cards (one Onboard)
2 Modems
2 Network Cards (One Onboard)
2 Motherboards
All of this equipment has been checked had verified to be
OK... By trained professionals.
I beleive the problem is in the way the memory is
managed, I have read in numersous forums.. that this is a
common problem for AMD CPU's .. with a lot of RAM .. my
problems did not start until I went from SDRAM to DDR ..
I have had the DDR replaced and checked 3 times, and the
memory checked out OK each time.
I am pretty sure that I am not the first individual to
have this issue.. and each time I call Microsoft , they
say .. this is a hardware issue.. IT IS NOT !!!!!!!!
I will send a complete inventory of all hardware
connected to this computer if needed.. but this is a
issue that should not be swept under the rug .. as a
hardware issue.
But what I read in forums .. is that the one common
denominator is the their is a AMD CPU and DDR RAM.
If their is no fix .. I would like to disable the BSOD
option
I can be reached at (e-mail address removed)
Please Help
Thanks,
