Stop errors

Is there any operating system besides the later versions of Windows
that use stop errors?

Yes, why? They are used in NT systems. Win9x systems use fatal exception
errors.

Windows 9X Families include fatal errors.
Windows 2000/NT all have stop errors.

Right. And fatal errors are not the same thing as stop errors.

Anyway...it looks like stop errors are an invention of MSFT. I'm
guessing that Unix, Linux, etc. don't have them.
