STOP error

Dear mdm/Sir,

I've a IBM Thinkpad 390x notebook and using a windows 2000
operating system. But in the half way the system prompt
me a blue screen error the message is STOP: 0x000000D1
(0x0000000C, 0x000000FF, 0x00000000, 0x0000000C)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

So, May I know what cause the problem and how to solve it ?
