Have a Toshiba laptop running Win 2K Pro. It can not even
boot up all the way to the desktop. What happens is the
startup logo appears and it boots up with the usual Windows
2000 logo as the indicator goes all the way then I get a
blue screen that reads "STOP c0000135 Unable to load DLL"
then it reads "the Dynamic Link Libary was unable to find
winserv in the specified path Deafualt Load Path". I tried
to restore the system to the Last Known Good COnfiguarion
but no luck- it still goes to this screen. I can not even
access the desktop in Safe Mode. Since the laptop was an
old one from work, no restore CDs were with it. There is no
floppy drive, only a cd/DVD drive. Any ideas?
