stop error - blue screen

I removed the CD Rom drive from my laptop and switched to a
floppy disk drive while working in Windows. Then I
restarted the computer so it would read the new drive but I
got a stop error with a blue screen. The error # is Stop:
0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xF99051D, 0x00000000). I also have
Fx_Rec.sys - Address F979051D base at F9790000 Datestamp
3b7d8361. No matter what key a push the system won't shut
down or restart. What can I do?
