stop download all email from server?

Hi,

Recently, I have transferred all my email from outlook express to
outlook 2002 SP-2.
My email account is yahoo and I made the account to leave the message
on server 20 days.

However, every time I re-open the outlook, all email on the server
will be downloaded again. It doesn't happen on outlook express
before, does anyone know if I have missed any setting or it's a bug ?

Try creating a new mail profile for Outlook. You can point it at your
existing PST so you won't lose anything. The UIDL cache that Outlook uses
to determine whether or not it has downloaded a message appears to be broken
and I believe that's a profile-specific entity.
