Still trying to build a copy of XPe for boot via cdrom I now have this error:
Blue SCre of death:

BAD_Pool_caller
0x000000c2 (0x0000007, 0x00000cd4, 0x000104oe, 0xe10e6c00)

What is the cause of this and how do I fix it?

Thanks.

Yea, its a mess. I started over. This time everything worked fine. I
checked ewfmgr and there were no errors. It stuck on the startup screen.
Now, the error is back to the old oxoooooo7B (0xf7949640, 0xc0000034 ,0x0 ,
0x0 )

When run from the harddrive it all worked fine.

If this is a hardware problem I do not know where to look. I tried putting
the rom drive on the primary ide channel. That did not help.

Thanks,

Dan,

If it is CD boot BSOD 7B then it might be problem with drivers not set as
boot. (El-torito drivers for instance).

Or known issue with some motherboard BIOSes that do not report something
correctly :-(

Look at troubleshooting section:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group...e9cd63d679b/4bb9658425996274#4bb9658425996274

I heard that MS has a special build of ntdetect.com to avoid these problems
but they do not give it by default since it is unsuported hack fix.

Also you might want to give feedback to MS:

PS:
Can you answer my previous post questions? They might give us some idea.
