I've been having problems with my PC as of late and keep
getting the "Blue Screen of Death". Does anyone know
what this error msg means:

STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0x805945DE, 0XF9E83038,
0X00000000)

For Stop Messages, start here: http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
A kernel mode program generated an exception which the error handler didn't
catch. These are nearly always hardware compability issues (which sometimes
means a driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade).

Unfortunately, you didn't say under what circumstances you get this BSOD, or
give any history of the problem. That makes it hard to narrow. There are
three articles at the above link discussing this error -- just click 8E in
the menu at left.
