Hi!

I installed Partition Magic today, while I thought i might have solved a
problem for me.
I only have one hdd in my computer so I was going to split the hdd up in two
different partitions.
So far so good, but when it was halfway done an error accured and I was
forced to restart my computer.
Now, in the startup a bluescreen appears in about two seconds before the
computer restarts. It says STOP 0x00000024 [...], and I have no idea what to
do.

Can anyone help me with this?

A thankful swed
Kind regards
/Jonas Stenberg

The thing is, that I can't even go into Windows.. Right after the Windows-XP
startup screen appears the bluescreen comes up.

"Backup is a computer user's best friend."
- Yeah, I know. ;-)

Thanks

No, I've tried that too, and also "Start Windows with the last working
configurations", but I get the same error/bluescreen anyway.

Boot from your Windows XP installation CD and choose the Repair
(Recovery Console) option from the initial menu.

You will be asked to provide an administrator password. The default
value for this is blank (no password) so just press the Enter key.

When the computer stops at the Command Prompt enter the following
command:

CHKDSK C: /R

and see if that will repair the problem.

Good luck

I was too fast answering before, because it took longer time then i expected.
Ron: You are an angle! It works perfectly fine now, and all my data are saved!

Thanks alot for the help, really appreciated!
