stolen laptop

I had my laptop stolen. I know who has it and when they
are using it. Problem is the XP program is in my name,
How can i cancel the XP program....serial number is on
the back of the laptop and i dont know it.The person who
has it is always in chat room.
 
Sorry, contact your local law enforcement agency and file a report.

There is nothing Microsoft can do.
Contact local law enforcement as well as your insurance company.

You might want to consider this (http://www.pcphonehome.com/) for your
next laptop. It is a piece of software that can track stolen computers.
It only works if you install it BEFORE the laptop/computer is stolen, of
course.

As you know who stole it, it should be a simple matter for the
police to recover it. As for your WinXP license, it was stolen along
with the laptop, as it was an OEM license.
