Posts get buried here so fast because people post the
same question over and over. My original post is about 17
pages back now. Still nothing with animated gifs. I can
open them in IE and they work. I can try viewing them on
hte internet and they do not.

Basically I give up on it. I don't care anymore. Show
animations is enabled. I shut down my EZ Firewall(it also
blocks popups. Still no joy in Muddville. Both computers
are running xp and both have IE6. I have done everything
in the link from my previous post. So is it the
latest "Patch" for IE 6 that is causing this or what? The
one computer has a FRESH load of xp, only thing that has
been done is run all the critical updates.

Hi,
That problem is usually associated with ZoneAlarm Pro,
I'm not familiar with EZ so I don't know if it has a similar
option (disable animated gif's) .......

If you can view them in your browser, but not from a
webpage .... what do you see on the webpage?

I see the first frame of the animation on a webpage and
that is all. I have been thru all the settings on EZ
Firewall (http://www.my-etrust.com) and there is nothing
about disabling gif images that I could find. I can do a
fresh load and still have the same glitch. Will try the
cache thing and let you know.
