Still Need help w/Virus Alert

I am running Norton 2002.
Virus: Downloader.Trojan
Access to the file was denied
Unable to repair file
I went to the Symantec web site for removal instructions. But it did not
work.

File name: C:\Documents and Setting\Tracy\Local Setting...\slmss[1].exe
and C:\Program Files\STC\slmss.exe
