Still need help changing user names...

Hi,

I am still unable to fully change owner/ user names.. see below (all in
order...) ... thanks!

Does anyone have any suggestions...

Original Post:

Is there a way to change the User name/ ID? We passed along my wife's
computer to our daughter... Changing computer name is easy, but it's all
the other stuff - all of the System things, I cannot seem to change, or
am not allowed to - at least by simply renaming them.

I'd also like to donate another PC that was my daughter's (before she
got her mom's..) - and before that one goes out into the public, I'd
like to do the same to that one as well.

If you want to donate a PC, it is best if the hard disk is reformatted first
and then the original programs re-installed, before giving it away.

I'll try again. Here is some information on fixing a corrupt user. You can
apply this to changing owner also. Post back if you have trouble with it.
