Still getting crashes

When I open event viewer I see several errors with the same source: Apache
Service. The error text is: The Apache service named reported the following
error.
I am not using Apache or perl, as far as I know. There is no entry for
Apache or perl on the Control Panel -> add remove programs.

Where do I go from here?
