Recently something has changed in the current profile on my XP
machine. Xp comes up and asks me to logon. I enter the user and
password, moments after I click OK a light comes on on my notebook
keyboard below F11. Oncwe I see that light I know that my keyboard
will be all messed up. Exmple, if i hit the letter "O", a 6 is what
appears. It messes up several letters.

Making a new profile fixes the issue, but I have lots of software
configured in the old profile. I would like to fix this if possible.

How do I step through the login process, see what is being run, and
maybe see hat statement is causing the light to come on. If i find it
I can disable it I would think.

Thanks

Mitch

That suggests that the numeric keypad option is set. To turn it off,
try this: Press Fn/NumLock.
