status code 128

hi there,
while in XP, system starts and runs fine for a while and
then error pops up saying NT authority error status code
128. you have 28 seconds to close applications. it then
counts down and restarts the system. the computer was
just moved fromone location to another in a separate
building. in the original location, it worked fine with
no problems.
any ideas on what to look for or check?

with this error does it say anything about remote procedure protocol (RPC) ?
Because it COULD BE A VIRUS does it say "C:\windows\system32\lsass.exe was terminated?
 
thanks i will check this. the new modem turns out is
not a router so firewall is being install ASAP
