Status bar (bottom bar)

How do I make the status bar (bottom bar) always show in
IE? The one that shows the status of downloads and the
lock symbol on websites? Thanks
 
I have problem using the browser. When I am using the
internet and enter any web site the page open, but if I
try to clip for some information in that site, the
computer give me this information.
"Cannot Find Server or DNS Error", and they ask me to
Detect Network Setting.
I am using Window Me, and Internet Explorer 6.
I can't detect the network setting or I am not doing well.
Please can somebody help me with this.
