Somewhere in Windows XL Home there is a place to add and delete programs that
start automagically start when Windows is booted up.
I am getting an automatic log onto the Internet each time I start Windows
and would like to stop it, but how?

1. start --> Run --> msconfig --> Startup tab
2. start --> Run --> regedit --> browse to the key
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run
(This will do the same as msconfig startup, so if you are not used to
the registry
use the msconfig start tab instead).
3. You could have a logon script running as well running under a GPO (I
don't think
these are in XP Home)
c:\windows\system32\Group Policy\user\scripts\logon or for a startup
script
c:\windows\system32\Ggroup Policy\machine\startup\scripts
4. There could also be a logon script located in the Task Scheduler widget.
Start --> Control Panel --> Scheduled Tasks or in classic
Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Scheduled Tasks

Ummmmm, if you did not setup a task to run at logon or start up you should
do a full system scan for virus and malware. I hope i didn't forget any of
the locations to run a statup or logon script. I hope this helps.
