Does anyone know how to change the order in which programs
that automatically load during the boot sequence load. I
am trying to configure a computer to start the DSL login
program first before it loads internet explorer and Zone
Alarm. I can't seem to find a reference to this anywhere.
Everything worked fine until Bootvis was run to speed a
lenghty bootup. the problem with the lenghty boot up has
been solved (Not by bootvis) but I still can't get the
sequence to change. It tries to load IE before the
computer logs into DSL.

Open Notepad and write down the command lines for the applications
that you want to start with Windows in the desired order (one line for
each command-line). Save the file as STARTUP.BAT. Remove the
applications from the startup settings and place a shortcut to the
STARTUP.BAT file into the STARTUP subfolder of the Start Menu.
In the batch file you may want to use the START command to start your
applications. Type
START /?
at a DOS prompt for detailled help with this.
