Wesley,
Unable to get pc to go into Safe Mode. At startup, it
gives me the option to go into regular safe mode or with
networking or command prompt. Irregardless of selection,
it starts to load various drivers and freezes at
ivicd.sys. Man, this pc is just over a month old and I
just don't understand how my drive could lock up like this.

Also...
Open Device Manager and see if there are any of these...
A yellow exclamation point, which means that the device-
has a problem.-
A red "X," which means that the device is disabled.
A blue "i" for "information," which means that the device-
has forced-
resource configurations. This icon is seen only in the-
two resource views.-

Also check in the Event Viewer. Look under System and-
maybe Application.-
Look for a red circle with an X for errors. Not-
everything listed is an-
error.
Event ID & the Event Source are very important.
To open the Event Viewer...
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | OK
For any Events that seem related to the problem...
Double click the event in Event Viewer | Click: the-
button below the second-
arrow (looks like two pages) [[Copies the details of the-
event to the-
Clipboard.]] | Paste into Notepad | Click:
